My name is Laura Philbrick. I’m at the age now where the next sentence isn’t telling you my age but I do proudly announce that I am a mum to my two gorgeous boys, Vincent and Billy, and my partner, Lachy and I live on a farm just outside of Bendigo.

We have cows, dogs and too many horses for the amount of bums that ride them (1 bum, mine…). On days that feel hard, you’ll find me hanging out with them. They fill up my cup. If you haven’t spent time with horses, you should. Doesn’t matter who you are.

After studying, I’ve ticked off event management and new home sales but my love of graphic design and beautiful websites has always made it’s way back to the top of my career choice list, so here we are.

I’m not going to lie, Ruckus By Design has come about because I love being a mum way too much to return to the normal 9-5 job. Who wouldn’t pick doing their dream work with flexible hours that fit around an unreal work / life / family balance?! No one, is the right answer.
